- LOW MAINTENANCE: Clean your pump for optimal performance. Unplug the pump before handling and remove the intake screen and impeller by disconnecting them from the pump. Remove any residue using a stream of water, small brush or cloth, then rinse clean. Clean your filter regularly by submerging it into a bucket half-filled with pond water, gently massage and squeeze the foam. Having spare filters will make this task more convenient.
